NRPA Grant Opportunities Available, Apply Today!

ACHIEVE: The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) support local communities to implement ACHIEVE Communities (Action communities for health innovation and environmental Change) In 2010, NRPA will fund ten park and recreation agencies at $35,000 each to develop coalitions of local stakeholders and community leaders to address chronic disease risk factors of physical inactivity, poor nutrition, and tobacco use.  Apply Now!

Sticks for Kids: Developed as a partnership between NRPA and the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA), the Sticks for Kids Program is dedicated to introducing and teaching youth the fundamentals of golf through chipping, putting, club stance, grip, etiquette, and basic rules of the game. It is an annual program in which park and recreation agencies have the opportunity to apply to receive ten (10) sets of junior golf clubs, access to instruction cards, programming manuals, and ongoing club maintenance.  Apply Now!

NRPA-PGA Family Course Grant Program: NRPA and The Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) of America have entered into a new partnership with the intent to collectively impact and enhance municipal golf course operations across the country. A key element of the partnership is the launch of the NRPA-PGA Family Course Grant Program. The PGA will give up to 60 sets of PGA Family Course Tee Markers and support materials to municipalities and golf courses within the NRPA system.  Apply Now!
