Call for Education Session Proposals 2010 Congress & Exposition in Minneapolis, Minnesota   National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the 2010 NRPA Congress Program Committee would like to invite all interested speakers to submit education session proposals for the 2010 Congress & Exposition to be held October 26-28, 2010 in Minneapolis , MN . The proposal deadline is Friday, November 20, 2009.    We are seeking dynamic speakers and leaders who can share knowledge, experience and best practice techniques related to the work of parks and recreation.  Some of the areas of focus for 2010 include:   ·      Economic Issues: Facing the Economic Challenges to Create Economic Sustainability ·      Health and Wellness: Addressing the obesity crisis ·      Green/Environmentally Sustainable Initiatives ·      Changing Workforce: Welcoming Young Professionals and Planning for Retirements   We recommend that interested speakers review all of the text on our website on how to submit a proposal prior to submitting a proposal.  We are accepting proposals for concurrent sessions, which take place in 1.25 hours, 2.25 hours and 3.25 hours time blocks.  Proposals must be submitted through the online proposal form.   Please contact Danielle Price with any questions.
