It's Happening in Salt Lake City!


The 2009 NRPA Congress and Exposition is the one event you must attend this year. If you register before September 24 you can save up to $195. Educational sessions will highlight how you can increase agency funds, manage the budget, and provide many other practical takeaways. At the Exposition, more than 35 percent of the exhibitors will be new this year. They will be showcasing the latest products and services to ensure you stay current on trends in the field.

See Utah and Earn CEUs While You Do It
If you need CEUs this is the perfect way to earn them and get the Utah experience. These locally hosted, off-site sessions take you out of the classroom and into the real world setting for some hands-on experience and learning. In these sessions you will see recreation in action with Utah as a backdrop.

Utah State Parks and Recreation manages a herd of over 500 Bison on 28,000 acres of state land. Park staff monitors herd health annually by rounding up the herd, culling excess animals, and vaccinating as needed. Antelope Island also maintains "Fielding Garr Ranch," a late 1800s working ranch with programs and a visitor center. Get an up-close look at the magnificent animals found on the island.
